In this lesson, you'll learn about Android Studio's integrated debugger, how to pause execution of an app, and how to execute single lines of code at a time to pinpoint the exact source of the bug. While these are both powerful debugging tools, modern IDEs provide more functionality to make your debugging process more efficient. If you've completed Unit 1, you'll also be aware of how to read stack traces and research error messages. Up until this point, most beginning developers will probably be aware of debugging with Log statements.
